DEAR YOUNG STRING PLAYERS,

We invite you to take part in the Fifteenth STRINGS ONLY! - Zadar 2006 Master Courses and Festival, from September 17th to October 1st. STRINGS ONLY! emphasizes public performance because concert experience and public exposure are of incalculable value for your professional development.

Participants in STRINGS ONLY! will study solo and chamber music repertoire under the guidance of internationally renowned professors. The best performances will be presented at the Young String Players' Festival held in the magnificent St. Donatus' Church as well as other attractive venues in Zadar and in the 2006/2007 Music from Zadar Concert Series to be held at the Croatian Music Institute, Zagreb.

ACCOMMODATION
Participants will stay at the Margarita Maris Apartment Complex in Sveti Filip i Jakov near Zadar. The apartments are located 150 meters from the sea. The layouts of the apartments and other facilities provide participants with optimal conditions for practicing, lessons and rehearsals.

FEE
The fee, which also covers 14 days in a two-bed apartment, half board, is 520 EUR.

REGISTRATION AND PAYMENT
Due to great interest, the number of participants is limited. Therefore, please apply as early as possible.
Prior to June 30th, 2006, please send a completed Application Form together with a receipt or other evidence of the payment of the deposit fee of 260 EUR, to the following address: Glazbena škola Dešpalj, Matičina 2, 10000 Zagreb, Croatia.

After all the openings are filled, any deposits subsequently received will be refunded in full to the candidates who are not accepted.
The balance of 260 EUR should be paid as soon as a candidate receives notification of acceptance, no later than August 1st, 2006.

In addition to confirmation of registration, the participants will also receive detailed instructions. In the event that the balance of the fee is not paid on time or an applicant who has been accepted declines to participate, the organizer will retain the application deposit of 260 EUR as reservation expenses. Candidates who have not paid the 260 EUR deposit fee will not be considered for admission.

Submission of the completed Application Form signifies that the candidate has accepted the conditions for participation.
